Our products and ingredients are not and will never be tested on animals, under any circumstances. We have refrained from registering or selling our products within China due to its animal testing requirements.

We as a company have a strong environmental ethos that we are acting on, including an already implemented drastic reduction in packaging materials, a switch from plastic to glass as a raw material and other sustainable ingredients. This change has begun and will continue. We are exploring removing the outer wrapper and soft-touch varnish from our products and switching from plastic jars to glass jars, and reducing our packaging (and therefore the size of the product on the shelf).

All beauty products must be used for a certain period. This is known as the 'post-opening period' and can be easily identified by the PAO symbol. The symbol can be recognized as the shape of an open jar and will have a number inside it; 9M will indicate 9 months, 12M is 12 months, and 36M is 36 months. Once the product is opened, it must be used within this period, since after this time the quality of the product will deteriorate.

SAYAKO's entire collection is hypoallergenic or formulated to ensure a minimum of allergic reactions. However, if you have noticed sensitivity reactions in the past after the use of cosmetic products, you can take a test. Simply apply a small amount of the product to the inside of your forearm and leave it on, ideally throughout the day. If the area reddens or shows any type of reaction, it is likely that the product contains a raw material that is not tolerated. If there is no reaction, you can use the product with confidence.

Absolutely. All of our products are specially designed for sensitive skin and should be gentle enough to be tolerated by even the most sensitive skin types, as we avoid any superfluous and harsh ingredients that can cause, rather than fight, inflammation and skin irritated.

However, each person's skin is unique and the skin can react negatively to any ingredient. For example, some people may find that they are sensitive to natural ingredients like essential oils or fruit extracts. Even the most "mild" ingredients can cause a skin reaction in certain people, so we recommend testing a small amount of the product on the inside of the skin of the wrist area to determine compatibility.
